Program Components
This program consists of four components:

  1. Topics in US Business and Law
    To help you gain hands-on familiarity with the rigors and expectations of US graduate and professional schools, you will attend customized lectures given by professors of law or business.


  2. Academic Preparation
    The Academic Preparation course focuses on developing your skills in
    • US academic writing
    • critical thinking and analysis using case studies and US academic models
    • vocabulary development
    • reading comprehension
    • small group work

  3. Oral Communications
    Because university graduate life requires a great deal of oral language proficiency, this class is designed to improve your English language ability in
    • giving oral presentations
    • leading and participating in discussions
    • pronunciation, intonation, and fluency

  4. Orientation to Life in the U.S.
    Through a combination of lectures and panel discussions, you will explore issues that directly affect the life of students in the US, including health and safety, legal issues, and professors' expectations.
